How many does the van sleep?
What is included in the hire?
All the basics you would need including plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, tumblers, cutlery, utensils, chopping board, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, hook up cable and windscreen cover.
As well as this we include a hamper including tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits & sweets to kick start your holiday.
How do I make a booking?
Simply use the online booking form to confirm the dates your require are available.
What is needed to book?
We request 30% at the time of booking to secure your dates with the full balance due 2 weeks before the start date of the hire.
Do I need to pay a damage deposit?
We ask for £500 security deposit which is fully refunded within 7 days at the end of the hire providing no damage to the vehicle.
Is the van manual or automatic?
Bluebell is manual.
What are collection and drop off times?
Collection is 2pm on the day of the hire and drop off is 11am. Other times can be negotiated if required, however we do reserve the right to charge a surcharge if the return is later than agreed.
Can I take my bikes?
Yes, Bluebell had a genuine VW bike rack which can carry up to 4 bikes.
Is bedding provided?
No, you will need to bring your own bedding (sleeping bags or duvets).
Are we able to bring our dog?
Yes, we are fully pet friendly
How much fuel do I need to put in?
We would rent it out with a full tank of diesel and we would ask that it is returned with the same.
Is there a minimum hire?
Yes, a minimum of 2 days.
What paperwork do I need to provide?
Driving license and proof of address – we will contact you prior to the rental period to obtain these and complete DVLA check.
Am I fully insured to drive?
Insurance of the vehicle is included in the hire but personal possessions are not covered. Minimum age is 23
What happens if I need to cancel?
If you unfortunately have to cancel your booking your deposit will be refunded if more than 30 days notice given prior to the hire period.
If less than 30 days then unfortunately no refund can be given.
How does COVID affect my booking?
Full Covid guarantee – dates can be moved due to any changes in Covid restrictions at no cost.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking – please note all of our camper vans are non smoking
What happens if I break down?
Included in the price of hire is breakdown cover which provides national recovery, home start, roadside recovery in the UK.
For European cover, RAC appoint Opteven Assurances (formerly owned by RAC) as their operator and the cover consists of roadside assistance, onward travel and getting the vehicle home.
The Policy also includes a contribution to alternative travel or emergency overnight accommodation, plus cover if a driver is medically unfit to drive. It does not cover mis-fueling.
Who can drive the vehicle?
Main hirer is insured to drive the vehicle – additional driver charged at £20
